CBD that “hemps up recipes in your recipe file or books always gives those parties an extra spark. Or it livens your morning cup of coffee with health and energy. You will learn that almost any recipe you have, can be adjusted to be “hemped” up. Any recipe that has either olive oil or avocado oil in it, you can add CBD oil for baking to it. Just be sure you have a carrier oil like olive oil, avocado oil or coconut oil.
One full dropper of CBD oil is 1 mL.
CBD That “Hemps” Up — CBD Granola
- Makes 6 cups
- 150 mg of total CBD
- Serving Size = 1/2 cup
- CBD/serving = 25 mg
- 2 C oats
- ¼ C chopped pecans
- 2 T. slivered almonds
- ¼ C pumpkin seeds
- 2 T. chopped walnuts
- 1 t cinnamon
- ½ t salt
- 150 mg CBD
- 500 mg Oil = 9 mL
- 1000 mg Oil = 4.5 mL
- 1800 mg Oil = 2.5 mL
- ½ C sugar free maple syrup
- 1 t vanilla extract
- ½ C coconut oil
- ⅔ C dried cherries or raisins or other dried fruit
Preheat oven to 350 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spray with Olive oil fat free. Stir together oats, nuts, seeds, salt, cinnamon. Pour maple syrup, CBD oil and vanilla over oat mixture. Toss till thoroughly coated. Mix in the chilled coconut oil with your hands. Pour granola on the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly with a wooden spoon. Bake until golden brown, 20-22 minutes. After brown and toasted on one side, flip it over to toast the other side.
After removing from the oven, let it cool before mixing in the dried fruit you’ve selected. Store granola in an airtight container outside the refrigerator for 10 – 14 days. If you want to keep it longer you can store in the freezer for up to 60 days.

CBD That “Hemps” Up — CBD Pesto
- Yield: 1 cup
- 160 mg CBD oil
- 16 servings – 10 mg CBD/serving; 1 serving 1 Tablespoon
- ⅓ cup raw sunflower seeds, almonds, walnuts, pecans or pumpkin seeds
- 2 cup packed fresh basil leaves & spinach
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup olive oil or avocado oil
- ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
- 100 mg CBD
To make it most tasty, toast the nuts/seeds 3 to 5 minutes in a pan. Pour them into a bowl to cool for a few minutes. Combine the basil spinach, nuts/seeds, Parmesan, lemon juice, garlic, CBD and salt in a food processor or blender. Drizzle in the olive oil/avocado oil. Continue blending until the mixture is well blended with texture. Store leftover covered bowl of pesto in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
