2 Best CBD Topicals For All Things – Topicals and the Skin

The skin is your largest organ, so it is obviously the logical way to dose and in many incidents, it is the most effective as well. We usually think of eczema or acne or some other type of fungal infection as the skin condition that needs treatment. But that is only one area of skin concerns. The human body has almost 19 million skin cells and it’s constantly replacing them with new cells. CBD-infused body creams or bath bomb helps to discard the old ones and replace with new cells and skin velvety soft after scrubbing.

Another skin condition is wounds, particularly stubborn wounds that do not want to heal. Because of research and individual’s successful uses many believe that CBD hemp flower has the following qualities:

  • Anti-inflammatory properties
  • Anti-microbial
  • Anti-bacterial

For this reason, one of the products that the CBD manufacturing have added to this list of options is CBD-infused lotion or salves. The CBD-infused lotion has the potential to make a significant different in these skin conditions. CBD is a natural compound that comes from the hemp flower which on all counts is an amazing flower and plant.

2 Best CBD Topicals For All Things – Topicals and Joint Pain

More people have used CBD hemp flower for reducing pain than any other single condition. The interesting part is that topicals have been the most effective for those individuals. As previous stated, the skin has its own ECS so that better facilitates the hemp cannabinoids in topicals to do more than we expect. You may find some relief from joint pain as you massage it into the skin over the joint.

2 Best CBD Topicals For All Things – DIYin’ It for CBD-Infused Lotion

  • 3-7 grams of ground decarboxylated CBD flower
  • A ½ cup distilled water
  • ½ cup beeswax pastilles or grated beeswax
  • A ½ cup coconut oil
  • ½ cup aloe vera gel
  • ¼ cup jojoba oil
  • 20 drops of your choice of essential oils

 Method:

Put the beeswax, coconut oil and decarboxylated CBD flower in the top of the double boiler on low heat. Continue to stir repeatedly these two ingredients during 30 to 60 minutes of simmering.  In a separate pot heat the ½ cup of water to the same temperature as the beeswax/coconut oil mixture with the use of a probe thermometer.

Place the mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth over a mixing bowl. Pour the beeswax/coconut oil and decarboxylated hemp flower through the cheesecloth lined mesh strainer. Slowly pour the water into the mixture stirring constantly. Continue stirring until you have the consistency you want.

Lastly, pour the aloe vera gel, jojoba oil and the essential oil of your choice into the mixture. Pour the finished lotion into a glass jar container. It will be good for about three months.

“2 Best” Last

CBD lotion” is generally a water-based topical with a runny texture. Since lotions contain up to 50% water, it is difficult to keep them stable.  This problem can be the cause of a more costly product and they may contain more additives.
