Delta 9 THC marijuana is much more common than substance than CBD hemp flower, at least in the past. Today, CBD hemp flower is pushing the buck to catch up. There are advantages of both and negatives for only one of these two. Many states have legalized marijuana and, in more states, if you have a medical marijuana license, you can purchase it legally. CBD hemp flower does not have the psycho-active element that marijuana does. This makes it much more attractive for those who simply want relief from pain, anxiety, insomnia and much more.

Marijuana or CBD Hemp Flower Benefits — Differences

The most prominent difference is the psycho-active effect of Delta 9 THC and the no psycho-active effect of CBD hemp flower. The leaf of marijuana has thinner and more pointed sections which the leaf of hemp is fewer sections but broader in appearance. Legally there is a wide difference.  Marijuana has existed and in circulation for many years and controversial for just as long. Many use it for the purpose of getting high and intoxicated. Others endure those two effects in order to reap some form of health benefits.

The Differences of Hemp

There is documented stories of individuals using hemp for a wide variety of reasons from ancient times.  But in more recent times, because of its close “family relationship” with marijuana, it has been stamped illegal as well.  These siblings may both come from cannabis family tree, but they are as different as real-life siblings. Then the 2018 Farm Bill was signed by President Trump unleashing hemp to the population who needed the benefits but hated the psycho-active element.

Per the 2018, hemp flower cannot have any more than .03% Delta 9 THC. Because of this there are substantial testing requirements before a hemp farmer can sell and before a vendor can sell to the public.

Marijuana or CBD Hemp Flower Benefits – Benefits of Each

Marijuana has specific benefits which include glaucoma inhibitor, pain relief and relief of epilepsy and the chronic seizures. Medical marijuana also helps patients undergoing chemotherapy to alleviate nausea, reduce vomiting and increase appetite.  Marijuana also may improve the quality of life for those with Parkinson’s Disease.  Another benefit of marijuana may be that it helps to lower blood sugar in those with diabetes.

Now let’s look at CBD hemp flower and the benefits multitudes of individuals are experiencing. Pain relief is without doubt the first benefit and the reason that more people decide to consume it.  Coming in second is anxiety and insomnia. Whether you smoke or vape it or take it orally or apply topically, CBD and all the other cannabinoids and terpenes have very similar health benefits but always without the psycho-active hangover.

Now hemp also has Delta 8, a sibling of Delta 9. Most cannabinoids in hemp interact with the CB2 receptors of the Endocannabinoid System (ECS).  However, Delta 9 has a leg up in the fact that it interacts with the CB1 receptors which are primarily located in the brain and nervous system. Since Delta 8 oil is now available to spray on hemp flowers, we have a product that also interacts with the CB1 receptors. This means that since it is neuroprotective in nature, it can mitigate neurodegenerative conditions. These include Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease and many other conditions.

“All Points of View of Marijuana or CBD Hemp Flower Benefits”

Delta 9 Marijuana may have some advantages over hemp in some of its benefits. But if you are looking for relief for any number of health concerns, hemp is your option without psycho-active and intoxicative effects. It is worth a try for you if you need the benefits but not the psycho-active effects.
