Cannabis weed has long been used by some to sooth many common complaints, but you will also get a THC high along with it.  Now for all those who cannot afford to lose time with a high and reduced motor function, CBD hemp tea has arrived. CBD flower tea can sooth common conditions like nausea and pain along with anxiety and many other human conditions.

Best CBD Flower Tea Making

The best way to make CBD flower tea is by using any hemp flower that is high in high in CBD like Hawaiian Haze or Elektra.  It is simple. Visit your local dispensary with a nice supply of high CBD flower or order online from Dr. Strain CBD. Contact information is below at the end of this post.

Using the freshly dried and cured CBD flower will add the extra step of decarboxylation but that is no problem because the exact steps of decarbing are listed below.  The decarb process converts the CBDA into CBD so that it can be released into the tea.  The decarb process releases the therapeutic effects of CBD into that sweet steaming cup of tea.

Decarboxylation of CBD Flower

Here is the process to decarboxylate your CBD flower and the tools you will need.

  • 1 gram of high CBD hemp flower
  • Baking sheet
  • A grinder of some sort, your choice;
  • Parchment paper

Preheat an oven to 325°F.

  • Break the CBD flower into small pieces
  • Place the small pieces on of the flower on the parchment lined baking sheet;
  • Place the baking sheet with the CBD flour on it for 35 minutes;
  • After the CBD flower is cooled, place the pieces in a grinder;
  • Grind to the consistency you want for your tea grounds, but not as fine as for hemp flour.

Making Your CBD Flower Tea

Place the CBD flower grounds in a small fabric bag to prevent molding. To make your tea, you can purchase small metal perforated ball-like devices to place CBD flower tea grounds. After packing the perforated ball with grounds drop it in a cup of boiling water  and ½ teaspoon butter to help the CBD transfer into your body. Let it seep.

You can still add your favorites into your cup of CBD flower tea such as sugar, milk, honey or cream.

CBD Tea Blended with Other Tea

CBD flower tea can be blended with other teas such as black or green tea.  Additional teas such as chamomile, ginger and mint can be effectively mixed with the CBD flower for

My “High-Tea” Conversation

Heat is required to activate the CBD molecules, so it is perfect for that cup of tea. The lemon peel (not lemon juice) can be added to flavor it up. But be sure and avoid the white pith on the lemon peel.  Take your time with your cup of tea and allow the lemon peel and cinnamon stick slowly infuse in the tea but not overpower it.
