CBD and THC are both cannabinoids, but they are different, just like CBG is different than CBD and so it CBC.  Cannabis marijuana contains very small amounts of CBD while having a high content of THC. However, Cannabis hemp is rich in CBD but has very little THC. Most of the CBD on the market comes from hemp because there is a higher content so why not.

 

Weed is generally considered to be marijuana so even though marijuana has a small percentage of CBD, most of the CBD comes from hemp which is not considered to be a weed.

This is a myth that definitely must be debunked. CBD could be referred to as medical, but it is so much more. CBD does not convert to THC in any sense of the word. The only converting is when CBDa converts to CBD when heated to a certain temperature.
