The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is like a satellite that powers your cell phone so you can make a call. One satellite powers a lot of cell phones, not just yours. In 1990, researchers explored the impact of THC on the endocannabinoid system because it was the dominantly known cannabinoid at that time. Today, more vital information is known about many of the other cannabinoids, particularly CBD \’\’and the rising start CBG. The ECS involves three core components:
- endocannabinoids,
- CB1 & CB2 receptors,
- enzymes.

The 2nd ECS is in your skin, also the largest organ in your body. This is important because even though your joints are under the skin, they really part of the interior body’s structural system. The skin ECS is also like a carrier to your body’s ECS so it is doubly effective.
